The Government of Timor Leste, through the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and represented by the Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais ( ANM ) please to announce that Timor Leste has officially become a member of the Intergovernmental Forum ( IGF ).
The Intergovernmental forum on mining, minerals, metals and sustainable development ( IGF) supports nations committed to leveraging mining for sustainable development to ensure negative impacts are limited and financial benefits are shared.
ANM's objectives to join IGF is a part of its commitment to develop Timor Leste's mining sector in accordance with best mining practices globally.
