The Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais,I.P. (ANM) recently held series of courtesy meetings with the President of Municipal Authority of Baucau's representative, Sr. Francisco X. da Silva, President of the Municipal Authority of Lautem, Mr. Melio de Jesus, and the President of Municipal Authority of Manatuto, Mr. Luis Inácio Henriques Fernandes.
The meetings, held on January 14, 15, and 16, 2025, were aimed at informing the municipal leaders about potential mining projects in their respective regions or administrative areas and discussing the next steps for development in the sector.
The ANM will continue to engage with municipal authorities to ensure positive partnerships and that all stakeholders are well-informed about the opportunities and impacts of the mining industry.
