Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais, I.P. (ANM) is pleased to announce the issuance of Mineral Permits and Environmental Licenses to five companies on Friday, August 23, 2024. These companies have been actively involved in mining activities and will now transition to new locations as per their submissions. The companies awarded permits are:

1. Linatet Unipessoal, Lda to conduct Mining Activities in Aldeia mota ikun, Suco Mota ulun, Post Administrative Bazartete, Liquica Municipality.
2. Dalte Nova Unipessoal, Lda to conduct Mining Activities in Laclo river, Aldeia Kamalehoharu, Suco Dato, Post Administrative Liquica, Liquica Municipality.
3. Hongrun Construction, Lda to conduct Mining Activities in Laua-Liu, Aldeia Lawa-Liu, Suco Ulmera, Post Administrative Quelicai, Baucau Municipality.
4. Shabryca Construction Unipessoal, Lda to conduct Mining Activities in Aldeia Nauner, Suco Ulmera, Post Administrative Bazartete, Liquica Municipality.
5. Quatro Colegas, Lda to conduct Mining Activities in Morae river, Aldeia Raucassa, Suco Lauhata, Post Administrative Bazartete, Liquica Municipality.

Each of these companies has successfully met the stringent requirements for Mineral Permit procedures as mandated by Law no. 12/2021 of 30 June, under the Mining Code.

The companies are fully committed to carrying out their mining activities in strict accordance with the approved Mining Plans and all relevant laws and regulations in Timor-Leste. As holders of Mineral Rights, they have pledged to work closely and cooperatively with the regulatory authority to ensure compliance and responsible mining practices.
