On 11th March to 15th March 2025, ANM organized a ceremony of the Issuance of Exploration and Evaluation License for Metallic and Non-Metallic Minerals for Tivan Limited, Singapore Infrastructure Investment and Construction (SIIC) Company, Unip, Lda, Taishengts Timor, Lda, and Nova Energy and Resources Pte Ltd to conduct an activity for Exploration and Evaluation focused on assessing the potential of mining resources in the designated area, which spans the municipalities of Lautem, Baucau, Manatuto, Ainaro, and Manufahi.
The approved exploration work program and budget comprised of activities such as: geological and geophysical field mapping, laboratory works and analysis and drilling. License holders are committed to implementing a local content program throughout the duration of the project. The Projecting and Research license is valid for four (4) years.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Prime Minister of the RDTL, H.E. Vice Prime Minister-Minister Coordinator for Social Affairs and Minister of Rural Development and Community Housing, H.E. Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resource, Member of Governments, Distinguished Members of Parliament, Representatives of the veterans, PNTL Municipal, Local Authorities, Institutions under the tutelage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Community from the exploration area and media.
