The Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais (ANM) actively participated in the Future of Mining Australia 2025, a leading conference and exhibition held from July 1–2 at Crown Perth. The event brought together global leaders, government representatives, industry experts, and innovators to discuss the future of the mining sector.

The themes explored during the conference included the future workforce, electrification, regulatory frameworks, technological advancements, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. The gathering focused on promoting a safer, more sustainable, and efficient mining industry, particularly through the integration of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and other emerging technologies.

As part of the conference agenda, ANM had the opportunity to deliver a presentation on a country focus program, presenting recent developments in the nation's mining sector. The presentation highlighted progress in exploration and investment opportunities in Timor-Leste’s mineral resources. In addition, ANM conducted a series of meetings with companies that expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities within Timor-Leste’s mining sector.

The participation of ANM at this international platform reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting Timor-Leste as an emerging destination for responsible and forward-looking mineral investment.
