On 28 April 2025, Timor-Leste delegations represented by ANMr and IGTL participated in the 7th ASEAN Minerals Cooperation Action Plan-IV (AMCAP-IV) Task Force Meeting on the Development of the ASEAN Minerals Development Vision (AMDV) and AMCAP-IV for the upcoming 20 years and 5 years, respectively. The objective of the meeting was to recap the progress made in the development of the AMDV, AMDV Declaration, and AMCAP-IV, led by Malaysia and the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC).

On 30 April 2025, Timor-Leste delegations participated and delivered a presentation in the ASEAN- IGF (Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development) Regional Workshop on Formalization of Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining focused on How to Implement Regulation Effectively to Formalize Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining.

Throughout the 13th JWG, as an observer, Timor-Leste delegations attended the 26th meetings of the Working Group on Minerals Information and Database (26th-WGMID), the Working Group on Sustainable Mineral Development (26th WGSMD), the Working Group on Capacity Building in Minerals (26th WGCBM), and the Working Group on Trade and Investment in Minerals (26th WGTIM). In these meetings, the ASEC was briefly presented on preparation for Timor-Leste's accession to ASEAN to all ASEAN Member States (AMS), and Timor-Leste delivered a presentation on Progress Updates in implementing the Roadmap for Timor-Leste's Accession as a Full Member of ASEAN in the Mineral Sector.
