Recently, a Timor-Leste delegation represented by ANM and IGTL participated in the 24th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Minerals (ASOMM) and ASEAN Plus Three meetings held in Bali, Indonesia from 18-22 November 2024. Objectives of the meetings were for ASEC and ASEAN Member States to present to the ASEAN Senior Officials on the draft ASEAN Mineral Development Vision (AMDV) for the upcoming 20 years and ASEAN Minerals Cooperation Action Plan (AMCAP).
Continuous participation of Timor-Leste in such meetings in Mineral Sector forms part of the country’s commitment towards full adherence of Timor-Leste into ASEAN membership by 2025.
