Dili, 25 June 2025 – The Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais (ANM) has officially signed the Terms of Reference (ToR) with the students who received the Bolsa Hakbi’it scholarship from the Beduku and Mota Comoro communities.
Bolsa Hakbi’it is part of Local Content Program from the Mineral Rights Holder operating in the area. The program aims to give back to the community by helping young people get access to higher education.
Upon completion of a thorough process including information sharing in the community, applications, and interviews, the selected students signed the agreement that explains their responsibilities and the support they will receive.
Each student will receive:
• University tuition fully paid
• School materials
• Transport allowance
• One unit laptop
This support helps reduce the financial burden for families and gives students the tools they need to succeed in their studies. The scholarship holders said they are excited and ready to begin their new journey in education.
ANM believes that education is a key part of development. Through programs like Bolsa Hakbi’it, ANM is working to ensure that the benefits from mineral resources help improve the lives of local people.
