President of Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais. I.P ( ANM ) was invited by the Secretary of State, under the Ministry of Mine and Energy of Cambodia to participate in the ASEAN Senior Official Meeting on Minerals ( ASOMM ) held in Phom Penh Cambodia started from 21st Nov – 22nd Nov.
During the event, Mr. Rafael de Araújo has the chance to share with the Senior Officials of minerals from the ASEAN Members State on the development of mining sector in Timor Leste as well as the strategic plan of the Regulatory Authority to be implemented in the coming years. Additionally, ANM’s participation in the ASOMM meeting was as an observer.
Following that, on 23rd November, Mr. Rafael de Araújo participated in the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Minerals (AMMin) in the capacity of the Senior Official for Mineral from Timor Leste to accompany H.E Mr. Francisco da Costa Monteiro, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
