On 21st June 2024, Beacon Minerals Limited (Beacon), as Holder of Mineral Rights for Exploration and Evaluation Activities, conducted Cultural Ceremony and public consultation for four (4) Concession Areas, namely MEL2023-CA-ZB003, MEL2023-CA-ZB004, MEL2023-CA-ZB005, MEL2023-CA-ZB006 in Vemasse Administrative Post, Baucau Municipality.

The objective of the public consultation was to continue disseminating information associated with Exploration and Evaluation Activities to the esteemed local authorities from Beacon and its Partner Murak Rai E.P as well as Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais, I.P (ANM, I.P), which was participated by a representative from President of Municipal Baucau, Post Administrator of Vemasse and Venilale, Chief PNTL of Vemasse Administrative Post and Veterans. The Local Authorities composed of Chiefs of Villages  and the Council of Villages  from eleven (11) Villages, namely Uaigae, Vemasse, Ossouala, Uatu-Lari, Ostico, Caicua, Loilubo, Baha mori, Fatulia, Uai Oli, Uato Haco, played a crucial role in the consultation process.

The objective of the cultural ceremony was the company to put and respect the cultural values when performing or carrying out the Mining Activity in the concession area, and as part of asking permission to sacred spirit to show a way that the referred activity will not encounter a difficult situation in order to gain a positive result (as Timorense beliefs).
