The Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais (ANM), I.P ’s President Mr. Rafael de Araujo,representing H.E Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Mr. Francisco Monteiro, participated at International Mining and Resources Conference and Expo (IMARC) in Sydney Australia from 31st October to 2nd November. During this time, the President of ANM Mr. Rafael de Araujo and President of Murak Rai Timor, E.P. Mr. Jose Goncalves also met with Head Division of Department of Industry, Science and Resources of Australia Mr. Peter Chesworth and Ms. Jessica Williams to discuss potential collaboration. The presidents also met with Mr. Julio Freitas, Consul General and Ms. Nidia Andrade, Vice-Consul of Consulate General Timor-Leste in Sydney as a courtesy meeting and to give an update on the information relating to the sector to the Honourable Consul General.
